Ron Steen is literally the Godfather of Jazz Jams in Portland, Oregon, and one of the most successful musicians in the area. He has had an ongoing jam session since 1980, and has been hosting Produce Row for about 13 years. Any New York pros who come through town stop in to Produce Row to jam on Monday nights.
In addition to hosting at present FIVE jam sessions in town, including the new Vocalist Session at Wilfs. Ron sits on the board of the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival and plays regular casual and club dates.

COVER CHARGES apply when Wilfs features live music in our bar area – Wednesday – Saturday, 7:30-11:30 pm. Quite simply, the cover charge is paid directly to the artists that you are enjoying each night at Wilfs. When you join us for drinks or dinner and plan on leaving before the music starts, we won’t ask for a cover charge. That does not mean you can come early and avoid paying the cover – we want to make sure our musicians are paid for their performance.
